DistriBooks
For distributors and wholesalers who sell on credit, not just at the counter.
DistriBooks is built around the parts of a distribution business a single-location retail POS was never designed for: wholesale accounts buying on credit, salesman-attributed orders, and physical deliveries that need tracking from warehouse to doorstep. Every sale can carry a gate pass; every account keeps a running ledger.

The problem it solves
Most POS software in Pakistan assumes a walk-in customer paying cash at a counter. Distributors work differently — orders arrive through salesmen covering areas, goods leave on delivery runs, and payment comes days or weeks later against a running account. Managing that in registers and Excel means lost gate passes, disputed balances, and month-ends spent reconciling instead of selling.
Built for: FMCG distributors, wholesale traders, and dealership networks across Pakistan.
What's inside
Wholesale-account POS
Checkout built for credit accounts, not just walk-ins — select the wholesaler, bill against their account, and record payment across multiple bank and cash methods.
Outward Gate Pass (OGP) & delivery
Create delivery runs by delivery man, salesman, and area. Every OGP links back to its sales, so nothing leaves the warehouse untracked.
Customer ledgers
Running debit/credit balances per account, so any balance dispute is settled by opening one screen — not digging through a register.
Batch receipts queue
Record a whole day of customer payments in one sitting, with method and account tracking per receipt.
Vendor-wise product catalog
Products grouped by supplier with packing and per-unit pricing — matches how distribution stock actually arrives.
Business dashboard
Revenue, purchases, gross profit, receivables/payables, top companies by revenue, and low-stock alerts in one view.
Straight from production
Real screens from the live system — not mockups.

Common questions
What is an Outward Gate Pass (OGP) in DistriBooks?
An OGP is a delivery document that records which goods left your warehouse, on which run, with which delivery man and salesman, for which area. Each OGP links to its sales invoices, so physical deliveries always reconcile with billing.
Can DistriBooks handle customers who buy on credit?
Yes — credit accounts are the core of DistriBooks. Every wholesale account has a running ledger with debit/credit balances, and the POS bills against the account rather than requiring immediate payment.
Is DistriBooks free for TaxAccountant.pk clients?
Yes. All Evotrade software, including DistriBooks, is free for active TaxAccountant.pk clients. For everyone else it is Rs. 1,000/month, with 20% off on yearly billing.
Can DistriBooks track which salesman brought in an order?
Yes — every order can be attributed to a salesman, and the Top Companies and Top Customers reports on the dashboard roll up by salesman-covered accounts, so commission and performance tracking has real data behind it.
Does DistriBooks support multiple payment methods?
Yes — receipts can be recorded against bank accounts (HBL, MCB, and others you add) or cash, and the batch receipts queue lets you post a whole day of payments across methods in one sitting.
Can I migrate my existing customer and vendor data into DistriBooks?
Yes — our onboarding team imports your existing customer ledgers, vendor lists, and opening balances during setup, so you start with accurate running balances rather than from zero.
What happens if I stop my subscription — do I lose my data?
No. Your sales history, ledgers, and gate pass records remain exportable for 90 days after your subscription ends, and TaxAccountant.pk clients retain access as long as their engagement continues.
Does DistriBooks work if my internet connection drops mid-sale?
The POS queues transactions locally during short outages and syncs once the connection returns, so a dropped connection at the counter does not mean a lost sale.
How is DistriBooks different from a regular retail POS?
A retail POS assumes walk-in customers paying immediately. DistriBooks is built around credit accounts, salesman-attributed orders, and physical delivery tracking via gate passes — the actual shape of distribution and wholesale trade, not retail.
